CEO Marilyn J. Ounjian Named Finalist in the
2006 Businesswoman of the Year Awards

BOCA RATON, FL - CareersUSA is pleased to announce that its founder and CEO, Marilyn J. Ounjian, has been named a finalist in the entrepreneurial category of the South Florida Business Journal’s 2006 Business Woman of the Year Awards.

The annual awards ceremony ranks Dade, Broward and Palm Beach businesses based on a variety of factors, including the number of employees, revenue range, percentage of net income growth, civic involvement and employee improvement programs. Judges from area businesses anonymously vote on the finalists and winners. Following site visits, the winners will be announced during an August luncheon.

Ounjian was thrilled at receiving this distinction and humbly attributed it to the dedication of her staff. “They're hard working and loyal individuals who I admire greatly, " she said. "This company wouldn't be where it is today without them."

CareersUSA, headquartered in Boca Raton, Fla., specializes in the placement of temporary, temp-to-hire and direct-hire employees. The company, founded in 1981, has offices nationwide and employs more than 16,000 people in a wide range of industries.

Among the many accolades received by Ounjian and her firm are inclusion on the Top 50 Women-Led Businesses in Florida list; being named the 2005 Business of the Year, 2005 Business Woman of the Year and one of Florid’s Largest Temporary Personnel Agencies by the South Florida Business Journal; one of the Fastest Growing Private Companies by Inc. 500 magazine; one of the Top Temporary Staffing Agencies by the Atlanta Business Journal; and the Number One Staffing Agency by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
