Marilyn J. Ounjian, founder and CEO of CareersUSA® to Speak at Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business

Boca Raton, FL —Marilyn J. Ounjian, founder and CEO of CareersUSA, will be speaking at Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship on Oct.15 as part of the Business School's Distinguished Lecture Series.

Ounjian's lecture, Tough Times Don't Last…Tough People Do, will feature her personal story about the roads she traveled to arrive where she is today — a successful, entrepreneur/business owner of the 26-year-old, nationally acclaimed staffing firm CareersUSA. Suggestions on how to become a successful entrepreneur will also be offered.

Despite adversity, Ounjian was able to carve a distinct niche in the staffing industry with the company she built from her kitchen table in 1981. By 1988, CareersUSA was recognized by Inc. Magazine as "One of America's Fastest Growing Companies." In Florida, Ounjian has enjoyed accolades that include the South Florida Business Journal's 2005 Business Woman and Business of the Year awards, and being a regional finalist for Ernst & Young's 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year.

Ounjian is looking forward to speaking at Nova Southeastern University, because, she says, "I feel it's important for the business community to set an example and to inspire others to succeed."
